On Saturday June 7th the players, coaches and supporters of Linslade Galaxy FC got together to celebrate team and individual successes in our annual end of season presentations.

The format had been subject to a last-minute change due to the forecast of heavy rain, which meant that all trophies were given inside. In the event the rain largely held off until the end of the day, which meant that the games available on the Cedars pitches were able to go ahead. It was great to see players of different teams mingling, as well as players from our girls teams and mixed teams - a real demonstration of the Galaxy family!

As all the teams collected their trophies throughout the day it was plain to see the passion in our coaches and just how proud they were of the players in their teams. As for the players themselves there were mentions of overcoming the odds, making a huge difference to the team, and compliments received from other teams. There were stories of great saves, last ditch tackles, fantastic free-kicks and a County Cup triumph.

What a season it's been and it's great that we were able to celebrate it in this way!
