Wow - what a season that's been! Full of action and fun in both training and matches and now it's time for the Linslade Galaxy FC end of season presentations, where we can acknowledge and reward the progress of all our players.

As June 15th is fast approaching, please read on for all you need to know about the day:

WHERE: Pulfords Lower School - This is a town centre location, so please add time as necessary to park.

WHEN: We will kick off with the girls's teams from 11:30 a.m., followed by the mixed non-competitive teams from 13:25, and finishing with the mixed competitive teams from 16:25. Please see below for the timings for each team. Please note timings have been very slightly altered to ensure that each team’s presentations can last for 15 minutes and then a 5-minute gap for team changeovers. Please arrive in good time - presentations cannot be delayed as this would affect all following teams.

WHAT TO WEAR: All players to wear Galaxy kit. This is important for the presentations, but also for the Club Legends photography that follows.

UPON ARRIVAL: All adults are to pay £2 each. This will cover the hire cost of the venue, with any additional funds going straight back into purchasing equipment for the teams. (There will be a card reader. Coins will be exceptionally helpful as a float for the tournament the following week-end!).

The £2 entry includes a raffle ticket with prizes of £50 and £25 to two lucky winners. The Club will announce via the Coaches WhatsApp groups the two winning raffle ticket numbers at the end of the last team’s presentation.

Please note that the only way to enter the school will be via the road entrance into the main hall porch. The main entrance at the bottom of the road will be closed. As there will be a presentation taking place inside the hall, please stay outside until your team is called. If it is raining and everyone does go inside the hall, please be respectful that the previous team's presentation will be taking place.

THE PRESENTATIONS: This will be led by the team coaches and will last for 15 minutes per team. There will be individual and special award trophies awarded.

PLAYER PHOTOGRAPHY: After the presentations, players and their adults will make their way to the classroom next to the hall for Club Legends photography. The photo shoot will be done individually by player, but Club Legends will combine (‘stitch’) into a team photo. Both individual and team photos will be available to purchase. Please look out for more details on the great photos that will be available!

OUTDOOR PLAY AREAS: The school has made available for the Club both their 3G and grass playing areas from 12:30 p.m. so that the players can enjoy a game of football after the photography. There are steps (and a ramp) leading down from the classroom to these areas. There will be a team coach present for each team's designated timings. (Well-behaved) dogs are allowed in the grounds, but not inside the school buildings. The school has asked that we take special care not to damage the new saplings in the grounds.

There will be an ice cream van, so fingers crossed for lovely weather!

LEAVING THE EVENT: At the end of your team's activities, please leave via the gate by the school field. Please do not return into the school, so that the one-way system operates safely.
