After their first season of training together and friendly matches Linslade Galaxy Wildcats Jaguars U10’s attended their first tournament. This took place at Woburn and Wavendon on Sunday 26th June and was non-competitive.

The team had an amazing performance wining three of their four matches. All players impressed and shone, with enthusiastic displays all over the pitch. Arabella and Elizabeth providing a wall in defence conceding only two goals for the entire tournament. The midfield of Juno, Sylvie, Aiofe, Ester and Sophie provided fantastic linkup from defence to attack. With Belle, Amelie and Jessie being an ever-present attacking threat. It was great so see the goals being shared amongst the players. Every single player should be extremely proud of themselves because their Wildcat’s coaches were indeed.

Lastly the parents were on hand to provide fantastic support to the newly appointed coach for this age group, so thank you and well done. With medals awarded and team photos taken it was rounded off by a chorus of happy birthdays to coach Vig, who through the performance of the wildcats received a great birthday present.

With an effort like this there can only be great things next season when the league starts in September. Come On You Jaguars.
