After falling behind to a pacey run and finish, Porto responded quickly following a nice four-pass move. Aidan calmly placed his header following a precise cross from Stan.

Despite being 2-1 down at half time Porto were well in the game. However, just four minutes into the second half the task became harder when the away side extended their lead with a flicked header from a cross into the box.

Porto had positive spells but were unable to convert a late flurry of chances as the comeback slipped away. The match highlighted the need for tighter positioning and more communication, with moments where we sat too deep.

Fred was player of the match, delivering as full back throughout the game.
