The home side were outstanding and raced to a 5-0 half-time lead thanks to brilliant attacking play, superb crosses and clinical finishing. It was the perfect response after last week, showing just how dangerous they can be.

Defensively the clean sheet was fully deserved. The back line, expertly marshalled by Teddy were organised and limited Sharnbrook to very little. Nathan also played his part producing and excellent penalty save midway through the first half.

After Tom opened the scoring, the team never looked back. Player of the match, Aiden shone with a super hat-trick, being in the right place at the right time to finish from crosses and turning provider for Jack with a driven cross. Jack added another after the break finishing well after a neat through ball from George.

Porto were quicker to the ball and more confident in possession, with better distribution across the pitch. Energy levels were high and the team were full of team spirit, proof of how well they can play.

It was a great response to the reverse fixture earlier in the season and last week. Every player can be proud of their contribution in the dominant win.

With another home match coming up, Porto will be looking for more of the same.
