MKDDL U13s Cup (1st Round)
Tattenhoe U13 Reds 4 v 2 Linslade Galaxy U13 Porto
Porto hoped to build on last year's cup run but couldn't make the most of their chances and lost to a confident Tattenhoe side.
Porto took the lead with a good header mid-way through the first half. However, they couldn't hold on and Tattenhoe equalised before half time. After conceding early in the second half, Porto fought back to level the score but couldn't keep up the momentum
and let in two more goals late on.
Callum was named player of the match for his hard work and passing in midfield.
Porto lacked their usual energy, likely due to a busy week of football. They need to keep possession better, communicate more, and be more assertive when under pressure.
Despite the loss, Porto showed great spirit and didn't give up. There's plenty to learn, and the team will aim to come back stronger.
