The Spartans of LG Roma turned out for another outstanding performance at Sir Herbert Leon Acadamy. Their rivals Stoke Hammond Phoenix played a blinder of a game but couldn’t get through our defensive wall, aka Charlie and William!

These boys played their hearts out preventing the ball heading towards Joe, who showed true Spartanship and listened to his coaches by showing his ability to advance towards his opposition and retreat back towards his goal line in times of need.

Frank got his name back on the scorecard today with a belter of a volley into the onion net, lots of smiles after to lighten up the day! Caine almost scored on numerous occasions and his drive and determination never fails to impress with a couple of great runs up the wing.

Oliver was looking dangerous and narrowly missed at least 5 goals which shook the opposition and gave our team the cheers we all love to hear.

Our Gartec player of the match went to George today, he scored an amazing 8 goals with everyone of them volleyed like his life depended on it! His ability to curve around his opponent and find the ability to outpace them is still a mystery! Well done Spartans!
